Ronda, thanks for the helpful advice. That is one of the things that Shirley at the bird farm taught me, to give her two fingers or my hand to stand on for steadiness. Since I've been doing this, it matters a great deal.

I can't wait to hear about SweetHeart's breakthrough. Have a great Tuesday!

Thanks for the update Debbie and that is just awesome on things are turning around for you and Obi!

I do have one bit of advice for you though and you may have not meant to say it like this, but you say "I'm looking forward to the day when she will sit on my finger and let me scratch." I hope your giving her your hand to step up on like if you were to go shake someone's hand you have it in that position and not just giving her a finger to step up on cause that makes them feel unsteady. You may do this already, just thought I would let you know if you didn't already.

But soo glad things are going well finally! We are having some break throughs as well with SweetHeart. I will have to sit and write to everyone here soon!

Happy Sunday everyone!

Hello everyone out there in Wings and Wisdom land - lol - I wanted to wish everyone a happy Sunday, and also let you know that Obi is now letting me scratch her head, face, little sweet cheeks, and loving every scratch. She holds her head sideways with her beak attached to one of the cage rungs - lol - it's so cute. I guess she does this sometimes when she wants a vigorous scratch without having her head bobbing around - lol - I'm loving her more and more each day.

I'm looking forward to the day when she will sit on my finger and let me scratch. She's starting to talk somewhat, I think I hear a hello and whatcha doing. She imitates me making a kissing sound like I do when I talk to Fred and Barnie (the cockatiels). She sounds like she's trying to make sounds like the Andy Griffith tune that gets whistled by me and Fred, with Barnie trying to chime in - lol

I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your birds. Have a great day!

Debbie
