Yes that always gets me too. And of course our day is nearly over by the time theirs is starting. Which means we get Santa Claus first and we get our Easter eggs first! And of course tomorrow we get fooled first (April Fools Day!)

What is the time difference between you and me? I am at GMT.

Thanks Ronda
What would I do without you! A lot of the imported magazines are very expensive here so that also helps and since we are so far south I suppose even better.

It is quite weird sometimes corresponding with people all over the world and since we do it online you tend to forget. Like when Mario and I chat I always have to remember that he is 7 hours behind me in time so when I am going to bed he is getting up just about. Very Happy

Tammy I just recently found this! Maybe it would be helpful to you since you can't get any in your area! I can not believe your from Africa! I just never thought of this forum going all over the place lol. I know there is an Ireland on here too. That is just soo cool!

But here is a site that is an online parrot magazine, I believe it is the first free one out there.

You lot are so lucky ! - we don't really have parrot specific magazines here. There a few on wild birds and wild life. We have a publication called Animaltalk which is more specific to dogs, cats and horses with the odd bird article.

I also mostly use the internet to look for info.

I have however ordered two books on parrots. I must go to our local news agent and see if they can get Bird talk.

I buy Australian Birdkeeper magazine, Parrots magazine (I think is a UK mag) & Talking Birds newspaper which is a local paper.

These are all that're available here, I find them really good to read. We don't get the Bird Talk magazine here but I heard it is a good one.

Cool that is the one and only issue I have so far is Bird Talk lol. I got it cause it had an article on which Cockatoo to get and also an article on When Parrots bite lol. That was back in Oct of 2007. I still have it though and it looks like it has been through the wringer because of how many times we have read through it lol. I will go ahead and get a subscription to it! If anyone else has any others they use let me know!

How are you? I like Bird Talk myself. It is a good all around mag that has good articles and has some of the lastest products and toys on the market.

Other then that I use the internet as a great refrence tool. There are so many articles out there on the internet to read about birds. I also have a wide variety of books that I like to read. If you want let me know and I will post the names of the books and there authors for you.

Thanks Mario
