Oh yeh that would scare me, that is one reason why we looked into the harness. I forgot all about that! Velcro to me just doesn't seem secure enough. I made flight suits for the Air Force and we used velcro on some of the pockets and such, and I know after they have been washed a few times they will lose their hold. Thanks for mentioning that Claire. Now, we just have to try to get it on them lol.

I will have to look at the package to see the brand. I can tell you that if you are going to use it for outdoors, I would definately get the harness as the flight suit only have a velcro closure and I would worry what would if they pulled really hard or got caught up on something. I think since he let me put it on him, I will get the harness for when we go places (i.e work)

That is awesome! We just ordered two harness's for our Goffin and our TAG. Can't wait to see what kind of challenge that will be with my TAG lol. Thanks for sharing though! And I'm not that patient either lol Wink What kind did you end up getting Claire? Was it an off brand or the original? I read that the harness was easier to put on them and that's why we are trying those first lol.

I have a flightsuit for my B&G and my daughter has one for her cockatiel, but I haven't gotten one for my timneh yet. My daughter took her cockatiel for walks on the sidewalk last summer. It was hysterical!!

I thought this was going to be a huge struggle. The directions say to get them used to it for like 2 weeks. I am not that patient Smile He let me put it right on him and he can fly just as well as without it. It also comes with a leash!
