It can be really scary when they break a blood feather. I'm glad she's okay now! Be sure to monitor her closely for awhile to make sure the bleeding has completely stopped.

Her cage is a big king cage, that has these 4 hard lock on them.
Ya, Ronda, My dad said the same thing when he got home and look at her wing.

Thank goodness shes ok! I would invest in some cage locks.

Oh my! Well that is good that she is ok!!! She probably broke a blood feather in her cage. But who knows, just a good thing she is ok!
My cookatoo got hurt!
While I was at school today, somehow, snuggle's her herself in her cage, pulling a feather or someother way. My mom and my sister thought she was going to die she was bleeding so bad, but thankfully she was ok. By the time I got home she was fiying around the house and being her normally self. THe olnly thing that really change is now we have a pink bird not a white bird. [img]
