Yes we do still have him! It's a buck. The kids named him Lucky. He eats 6 bottles a day, 2 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening. I have been mixing baby cereal in his milk so it goes a little further. He can eat ya out of house and home lol. But here is a pic of him that we just took the other day. I have a video too I will try to add with my mother in law feeding him. She's from the city and every time she sees a deer out the window she says "Look at the deer! Oh wait you guys see one every day lol" But she loved feeding him the whole week they were here. She said she could add that to her "Bucket List" lol. I will get that video on here but here is the pic for now.

Hey Ronda- I just wondered how the baby fawn was doing? Do you guys still have him? I bet he's grown a lot! Let us know an update....

He's so adorable. Of course you couldn't just leave him to die. I'm sure he will fit in just fine at the Bragg family farm. Have fun and keep us updated on his progress!

Well of course they wanted to call him Bambi lol, and than there was Bucky. So he still doesn't have a name yet. I am trying to talk them into Stanley lol. But not set on a name just yet, so if anyone has any ideas that aren't the usual let us know! lol

Thanks girls! Here are some more pics we took today, he has been in my daughter's room and than he wonders around lol, and we couldn't find him than we found him in my son's bedroom all curled up sleeping, but here in the pic he is awake lol. Don't mind my son's messy room lol.

Oh wow! That is all I can say at this point! In the past 3 weeks I have now grown my rabbit farm from 1 to 22!

BUT the reason I am posting this is because of this! affraid

This is a little baby deer (buck). We are bottle feeding him. A friend of ours was mowing the hay field and actually cut his neck from ear to ear, but it didn't cut through the hide which was a miracle in itself! He waited and waited and the mother never came back, being it was hurt he took it in cleaned it up and than called me. Being it was cut the flies and maggots would kill it this time of year. So being that the mom never came back and it was hurt we took it and we are bottle feeding him. And yes I know the laws lol so don't write about how it's bad or whatever, I know there will be tons of opinions, but my opinion is I couldn't leave something to die like that as little as it is. It may get shot down the line because of how friendly he will be but that is just a chance I will have to take. For now I look at it as I am saving something from nature. Hope you all like the pics!
