Handle Your Bird Empty Handle Your Bird

Our birds are our pals, friends, life fillers, and on, and on. The most important is their needs along with our needs. It's not fair to use the thought of them being people, or children in the truer sense of them being nothing other than birds. We say we love them, but their needs go much farther than that. It’s simple to feed them, clean for them, buy toys and treats for them, etc. But they need much more from us. The first and most important idem in a long list of things is your fear of them. This is so important to THEM, because your ability to deal with them is the most important for their well being. We are entrusted with them as a whole guardian for ALL their needs. Some people have looked at my video of me handling them, and have said, I wish I could do that with my bird. Well in time every one of us should be able to handle them with some sort of authority.
Bite, yes they bite. Is it fun to be bitten, no? Do I want to be bit? Of course not and yes it hurts, and sometimes you will bleed. My family would say you’re all bi up, back then, but not anymore. This is a small price to pay for my love, and care of these magnificent creatures that fill a large part of my life. Their beaks are the most important tool for them, not only to bite, but to climb, eat, clean themselves, protect themselves, and protect me from others. Yes, try to come near me if you are a stranger.
What does this all mean? I spend the time to help all who want more for their pal. If my bird never talks, its no lose to me, because I know he knows I love him without question. Who needs who? We need each other, and that is a good partnership between us. It will happen slowly, but keep getting them more and more used to it. You feed you bird daily, so why not train them daily. It’s as important as food for them. Your reward will be the ability to be more a psrt of their life’ THEY NEED YOUR TOUCH OF WARMTH AND LOVE.
If I can help anyone here at the forum, I would only be glad to help.
If you think I’m full of hot air, then so be it. Give me hell.
