Those are beautiful pictures of Violet! I know it must be hard to re-home her but I think you know in your heart you are doing the right thing for her. Ronda and her family will take great care of Violet and you know she will get lots of attention and be much-loved.
I applaud you for being a great pet owner and looking after the best interest of the animals.

Hello All! I've been away for quite awhile. As Ronda said, Violet will be going to live with Ronda shortly. My life is super busy and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Unfortunately, the birds and mostly Violet are suffering. I have been thinking about rehoming her for some time but haven't as I had major concerns about what kind of home she would end up in. When Ronda said that she would take her, a huge weight was lifted. I know that she will provide a better home than I can and that's the best thing for Violet. Here are some pictures I sent to Ronda the other day.

I'm so excited for you Ronda! I know that Violet is going to be a great addition to your flock and will be loved and cherished there. Congratulations! I know that February will be a long wait for you but it will be so exciting once you get to bring her home.

Ronda, I am absolutely delighted for you! I dont think it was a big secret that you have wanted a Cag for ever. Claire if you are reading this I am so sorry you have to rehome her but you are doing the right thing. Ronda and Jessie will spoil her terribly! And its great that you can stay in touch with her and hear all about her progress.

Well everyone as you may have heard me mention I am getting a gorgeous new addition to our flock!!! I can now release a little more info on her because I just wanted the ok from the current owner. She has nothing at all to be ashamed of, I just wanted her ok to use her name and that I was getting her bird. Well I am getting Claire's bird Violet!! She is known on here as Clairbear. She has a few other birds as you all know, but this is the youngest of her flock and she was afraid with all the work she has been doing she wasn't giving her the attention she wanted to give her. So being she is the youngest and would be the easiest to adjust to a new home she decided if she could find the right home for her that she would go ahead and give her to a new home as long as she knew that Violet would be taken as good of care or better than what she has right now or else she would just keep her. Well Claire new all along that I have always wanted a Congo! I was actually going to get the brother/sister to Violet when she got hers, but we had just gotten Casper and weren't sure how bringing another one in that soon would work. So we figured we would wait a bit. Than Claire contacted me, and we are soo honored to even be asked! It's a dream come true for us! I have always wanted one and to know where she is coming from and that we are only about 4 hours apart she can come and visit any time she wanted! Not to mention when we go to our in-laws we can pop over there because she's only about 20-30 mins away from them! I couldn't ask for a more perfect situation! We are helping someone out, and getting a wonderful, gorgeous little girl! And I'm sure Claire knows or she wouldn't have asked us, that she will be well taken care of here! The good thing about our family is there just isn't one bird lover here, there are four of us. Jessie loves them of course and the kids are really loving them as well, which is good being they will possibly inherit some lol. Well that is our good news!! We will be most likely getting her in Feb. if not sooner! But we can't wait!!! Well I tried to find the pics she sent me to post a new one and I can't find them!!! So as soon as I find them or she sends me some new ones I will post one of her!
