Yes you should Eric! That would be great! We own a green Quaker and honestly she is a pain, but she was very abused when we got her.
Have you had your's since it was a baby? I have heard that the blue ones are a little calmer than the green. I would love for you to post something on here about that! Post away!!

she is a sweet bird. very cuddly and caring actually. she has been a slight pain lately though. cant keep her off my shoulders. i need to clip her wings again but i just hate that. ever since she grew back out she follows me like a lost puppy lol. today she followed me into the shower and her shadow (parakeet) followed her. the keet fell into the hot water so i scooped him out and placed him beside sky on the shower rod. he fluffed out and began whistling his normal whistle and all is well.
i dont mind her riding my shoulder train its the lack of warning me of poopy when she is there. she is actually potty trained but when on my shoulders you would never know it lol. i think i may buy a poncho
but all in all. she doesnt scream, bite or pluck. to strangers she is polite but wary. she will allow them to pet her and such. strangers can even pick her up off her cage! most of you know how cage territorial they can be. i would have no problems handing her off to a small child without fear of them getting bit.
there was an article about BLUE vs. GREEN in terms of behavior. it was a forum post and members were allowed to post their views. i should start a post about that here i think.

Mutations of the Quaker colors
Here are some of the rare and expensive Quakers. They seem to be coming up with new colors all the time! They are hard to find and from what I can see on a few sites they are pretty pricey as well. But they are very very pretty!
Here is the "Snow Blue" It's very pretty with it's mostly white body and blue tail feathers.
Here is the "Ice Blue" Very pretty
Here is the newest it seems. They are calling these ones "Grey Factor Mutation"
I think I'll just take one of each! They are very pretty!!!
