my parrotlet

ok this bird which i have had for about 5 years now is so neat, i didnt know what kind of bird this was until i looked him up. he came to me at work, i work for animal control and im at the shelter. the owner well moved and left him behide so i took him in. of course later the owner came back when he realised his bird didnt die.,... we ask him why he left the bird and he said it was only there for a few weeks he got a ticket and was told no more animals..... when i got the bird i had to take him to the vet to get him all check out not that i was worried pasting any thing to other birds cause i didnt have any at the time... so he was under weighter and the vet guy gave me some drops for him after a while the bird was at normal weight and very happy.....right now he is still doing good not sure how old he is but dont matter. i have named him bam bam. the reason is he beats up on his toys and hits the cage. his favorite toy is a ferris wheel which this is his second one due to the other one ended up breaking. if you take out the toy he flys to where ever you put it . he takes the seats off and then runs to what ever side of the cage im on and wants me to put it together. so that is what i do everyday. he went one day with out having one after he broke the other and that bird was so unhappy, so i went out and go him the one he still has right now and the lil guy came back to life.. so everyday when he comes out i put his seats back on his ferris wheel, i believe it is like a game to him he has fun taking it off and knows that i will put it back together.... i think that anyone who dont want a big bird they should get a parrotlet they are small and are very friendly nd love to sing
