Welcome first, and Congrads on your big anniversary coming up next month. The 25th is silver, and guess what, you both got a form of silver, with a GREY. I'm so happy for you guys, and lots of good luck with your baby Obi.
Feel free to ask the questions, but some answers will be a little different, because we have a lot of different opinions on some things. You should also know your bird is what you make of him, just like a child.
The best advice to you guys is, you are the OWNER, YOUR THE BOSS, AND NEVER FEAR HIM. If you don't get bit, your not handling him enough. If I might, I would like you to see a video I made one day just for fun, but so many bird owners wrote and told me they can never do that with their birds. To me that is wrong, Your in a perfect time in his life to do all you can with him, because he doesnt have his own way yet. You may think so but your the parent of him, and you do it right and he will be what you want of him.

Well we are glad to have you and your husband here along with your flock! I'm sure you will read a bunch and if you have any questions please feel free to ask them! And wordy, nah never heard of that before lol. I am too lol.

This forum was just started a month ago so we are still adding daily and if you have any questions on anything there are plenty of us here that have AG's as well as Cockatiels.

I wanted to say a quick hello (if that's possible, I'm too wordy - lol) and say that we have a Keeshound, Schotzie (14 years old), two cockatiels, Fred (14 years) and Barnie (around 6 years). Ethel died, so we added Fred.

My husband and I are new owners of a Congo African Grey named Obi, waiting on the DNA test now. He's actually our early 25th Wedding Anniversary gift, although our anniversary is May 12th. Obi has been with us two weeks tomorrow. He's stepping up, coming out of his cage (which he loves) and I'm trying to work toward my next stage of training. Obi is 4 months old and seems very content and happy in his new home.

Well, I'm heading over to the training forum to see if I can get some helpful hints/tips of where to go next. Have a great day everyone, and a wonderful weekend! I'm happy that I was invited here. Wink
