Re: Can Our Parrots get our Virus?
No your birds can not get a virus from you such as a sore throat, they can however get bacteria from your mouth so don't ever let them eat from your mouth. Humans have natural yeast in their mouths and that is contagious to a bird/parrot. But as far as a cough, sore throat, flu, fever they can't catch that.

Will my Baby Quaker get the sick if i have the flu?
well my throat been hurting and i cant stop coughin at times, i think i have the flu. My daughter has a stomach virus and shes been with diarrea and drowing up. Should i been concern about this with the health of my bird? Well evrytime im going to feed him or handle him i always wash my hands...but i dont know if thats enough. Help please...
